Join celebrated Seattle restaurateur Chef Ethan Stowell at Goldfinch Tavern for an exclusive five-course wine dinner featuring Mark Ryan Winery. What began in 1999 with just a few tons of grapes in a friend’s garage has since grown into the 14th largest winery in Washington State. For this special evening, our new Executive Chef, Andrea Ferrandi, and his culinary team will present a thoughtfully curated menu, each dish intentionally paired with Mark Ryan’s acclaimed wines. The dinner will showcase standout vintages such as the vibrant 2023 Sauvignon Blanc from Quintessence Vineyard and the bold 2021 Long Haul Red Wine from Columbia Valley. Throughout the evening, Mark Ryan McNeilly, Founder & Winemaker, will share insights into his meticulous approach to winemaking - one that has earned Mark Ryan Winery both critical praise and a devoted following.

Make Thanksgiving at Goldfinch Tavern an annual tradition, where sweeping Elliott Bay and Puget Sound views create the perfect backdrop for a festive gathering. Chef Jeffrey Hunter presents a three-course Pacific Northwest–inspired feast, beginning with a choice of seasonal starters such as butternut squash ravioli, Pacific Northwest oysters, deviled eggs with caviar, or a mushroom and squash terrine. Entrées include holiday favorites, including heirloom roasted turkey with Chef Corbin Englerth’s stuffing; slow-roasted ribeye with red wine jus; or King salmon with black truffle gnocchi and Dungeness crab. End the meal with a decadent selection of fall’s favorite desserts from Pastry Chef Danielle Grogan.

This Christmas Eve, celebrate with a festive feast at Goldfinch Tavern. Begin with a lavish appetizer buffet featuring an abundant display of fresh and cured seafood, from oysters and prawns to crab legs and smoked salmon. In addition, enjoy fresh fruits, Macrina pastries, artisan charcuterie and cheeses, burrata with confit tomatoes, and seasonal salads. For your main course, select from roasted turkey with pommes purée, confit leg, Chef Corbin Englerth’s stuffing and giblet gravy; ricotta agnolotti with butternut squash and foraged mushrooms; black cod with bonito butter and baby carrots; grilled New York strip steak with Dungeness crab whipped potatoes and winter greens; or King Salmon with potato pavé and lemon-butter sauce. Conclude the evening with the decadent dessert buffet to sweeten the holiday.
